This time last year we were in Milan, our first destination on our trip around Italy. We liked the city more than we were expecting to and a lot of this was down to the great atmosphere, the beautiful Piazza del Duomo and the Woman’s voice on the metro saying “doors open on the right” every time the train reached a station.
