When we visited Peterborough over Christmas we didn’t actually go inside the cathedral, we just admired the grand front view. I love cathedrals, which is ironic as I’m not religious in the slightest. However, I enjoy the history and architecture involved with such extravagant buildings. It’s a wonder how they were built in the times that they were.
Hopefully we will be able to go back to Peterborough at some point and actually have a ganders inside the cathedral to find out more about it and explore. So until we go again all we can do is admire a photo of the entrance and a good reveal of a magnificent building through an archway.
