Hidden Treasures – Portugal

Last month we celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary by returning to where we got married on the beautiful clifftop of Senhora da Rocha near Armacao de Pera, Portugal. We did come here in July of 2017, which I talked about in this blog post – Portugal – 4 Years On

We only went for a few days this time, but what this post is about is a little of something new that we found in an area we are getting very familiar with in recent years. Further along from Senhora da Rocha I came across a small and rather private beach, with only a handful of people sunbathing, swimming and enjoying the privacy of a secluded beach.

The only access I noticed was swimming around the cliff edge and rocks from the much busier beach that we were walking. So the next day when we were walking along the pathway high up above the beach I wandered off and found this beach. It was peaceful, pretty and had a long stretch of sand further than I could see, which may have led to another access point to this secluded beach.
