In my last blog post I mentioned that we had a holiday booked to Majorca for the start of May, but obviously that has been cancelled now that abroad holidays are going to take place from 17th May at the earliest.
However, it is not the end of the world even though I was very much looking forward to visiting Palma, a city I want to cross off my travel list. We now have three holidays for this year booked in. A mid week break down to Somerset in May, which is a Haven caravan holiday in Burnham on Sea, followed by another Haven holiday in June back up north to Yorkshire like last year. But in a different caravan park.
We have booked an abroad trip to Ibiza for September. Hopefully by then we will have been fully vaccinated and I have also read an article suggesting that the whole of Ibiza might be vaccinated by the beginning of summer, which would be really good!
I hope everything keeps going to plan with the UK’s fast vaccination programme and Europe pull themselves together a bit because if we go in September it will have been 2 whole years since we have been out the country and thats just too bloody long.
